When you call ahead and your order is cooked specifically for you, and is ready precisely at the time agreed. And it's really good. The portions are huge. The place itself could do with smartening up. But the fish'n'chips are terrific and the people are engaging and friendly.

The best for miles around. Shame they stopped doing lunch orders, as we used go there every Friday, after tennis. Pure delight, everything is cooked to perfection. You don't go away dissatisfied that's for sure.

Without a doubt the best fish and chip shop in the whole area. Not sure about the chip comment below (they must eat huge individual portions of chips in their house 🤣) as everytime I go in the portions are very generous (a small chips feeds two people) Staff are really friendly, great family run business! Prices are really reasonable too.
